Sealed ahead of the 7th Algeria-Spain high-level meeting in the presence of Premier Ahmed Ouyahia and his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy Brey, the five MoUs pertain to agricultural insurance, industry and mines, vocational training, high education and scientific research, civil protection as well as post, telecommunications and digital technology.
The first MoU, which relates to agricultural insurance, was signed between the National Fund of Agricultural Mutuality (CNMA) and the State Agency for Agricultural Insurance (ENESA). CNMA Director General Cherif Benhabiles and Spain’s ambassador to Algiers Santiago Canabas inked this MoU.
The second MoU was signed the Ministry of Industry and Mines and the Centre for Energy, Environment and Technology Research (CIEMAT). It was sealed by Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Mines Khireddine Medjoubi and Spanish State Secretary for Research, Development and Innovation (SEIDI) Carmen Vela.
