A partnership agreement was signed between the Economic Analysis Council (CAE) and the World Bank (WB), providing for an intellectual exchange as part of a strategic partnership for the construction of economic analyses, according to a Prime Ministry press release on Tuesday.
This agreement, which was initialled by CAE President Afif Chelbi and WB Resident Representative Tony Verheijen, aims to establish a strategic framework for collaboration and consultation on the studies and programs conducted by the World Bank in Tunisia and the studies initiated by the CAE.
The two sides agreed to organise periodic round tables with a view to making it a real economic exchange forum between the CAE, the WB and civil society.
The implementation and follow-up of this agreement will be assured by a commission composed of representatives of the WB and the CAE, which will be set up shortly after the signing of the agreement, reads the same source.
