A memorandum of understanding was signed Tuesday in Gammarth, between the Ministry of Energy Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy and the Mediterranean Energy Observatory (OME), on the fringes of a workshop on the Tunisian energy strategy.
One of the highlights of this agreement signed by Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy Minister Khaled Kaddour and OME Director-General Houda Ben Jannet Allal, lies in the partnership for the development of “the Mediterranean Energy Perspectives-Tunisia” (MEP-Tunisia).
Training and technical assistance sessions are planned by virtue of this agreement.
The MEP-Tunisia will be presented at the 18th Summit of the Francophonie scheduled to be organised in 2020 in Tunisia, with a view to presenting to international energy players, investors and donors the opportunities that the country offers in terms of renewable energy.
