The fourth edition of the “Tunisia Economic Forum”, which will take place on Wednesday, June 27, will focus on the theme of “economic policies and the constraint of Rare Resources in Tunisia”.

Organised by the Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE), this meeting, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, will be devoted to the problem of the scarcity of resources in Tunisia.

The IACE stressed, in our concept that “public policy choices are indeed constrained by an increased scarcity of resources such as water, land and highly qualified human resources, making room for maneuver more and more limited.

The first panel of the forum will thus propose to discuss the theme of “optimisation of economic policies under constraint of scarcity”, while the second panel will discuss the issue of “policies to be adopted for a better allocation of scarce resources”.

In this context, the focus will be on “the difficulties of the tourism sector in the face of scarcity of water resources”, “agricultural policy and scarce resources” and “industrial strategy under water stress”.

Similarly, this meeting will discuss the management of the scarcity of qualifications, which imposes the need to launch deep reflections on educational policies and the practicalities of keeping the rare stock of talent in the country.
