A delegation of French investors presented Tuesday, during a meeting with Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, a strategic partnership project in the agro-food industry, between the Tunisian company Rayen Food Industries and the French group Lesaffre, in the presence of Ministers of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Ministry, the French investor Lucien Lesaffre emphasised the interest accorded by the Prime Minister to this project in view of the advantages it presents, as far as strengthening the sustainability of the Tunisian enterprise and the consolidation of export and job creation, in addition to the improvement of quality and productivity in the field of agro-food industries, and specifically the yeasts.

The Lesaffre Group, whose creation dates back to 1853, offers today 10,000 jobs worldwide, and generates a turnover of more than 2 billion Euros or about 6 billion dinars.
